Sip On This! Can somebody please tell me how in the heck does Michael Vick get cased up for dog fighting and do roughly two years behind bars, but Donte Stallworth killed a human being and only gets 30 days? What kind of bull s**t is that!!?

The American justice system is a piece of crap. Why have defined laws if everything is left up to an individuals discretion? The system is way too inconsistent. If Vick had the same judge as Stallworth and Stallworth had the same judge as Vick, I guarantee you that Mike would have had a shorter sentence and Donte would have a tougher sentence than he does now. Every crime has punishable guidelines with a window of possible length of sentence, but the judge decides on how much punishment the individual deserves.

If the crime you committed hits home to the judge that’s weighing your case then you better believe you’re going to get a stiffer sentence than with a judge that really has no feelings towards your scenario at all.

Now, i have no problems with Vick or Stallworth as individuals or athletes; all I’m doing is pointing out the fact that this so called justice system is way too inconsistent and these two individuals just so happened to be the perfect examples of what I’m saying.

With that said, Mike Vick….more power to you. You did your time and now it’s time to move forward. Donte Stallworth……..I hope you stay prayed up because you just got off the hook big time homey!
