Sip on this people…….Brett Favre is on the market once again. The New York Jets released him and made him a free agent, and soon thereafter the Minnesota Vikings rumors started buzzing. This is because Favre made it clear last year that he would have preferred to go the Vikings in a trade from Green Bay. The Packers weren’t going to deal him there because they were in the same division and the Packers didn’t want to see Favre twice a year. I know i wouldn’t want to play him twice after trading him because i might as well chuck that up as two automatic losses. Any way……..

Favre might be 39 years old,  but is still a better quarterback then Sage Rosenfels and Tavaris Jackson. Sip on this…….If Favre goes to Minnesota then that would put opposing defenses in some awkward positions since there is no way to stop Favre and Adrian Peterson at the same time. Peterson is a monster of a running back that demands atleast an 8-man front, but if you do that then that leaves Favre and the passing game wide open with Bernard Berrian and Percy Harvin blazing down field. Oh yeah, you forgot that the Vikings just drafted Percy Harvin didn’t you? Well it’s alright because if Brett goes there then you better believe that he will become well acquainted with the NFL pig skin. Conversely, if a defense attempts to play a coverage to stop Favre then Adrian Peterson will be running to the big house all day.

Of course Brett isn’t giving any insight into playing for another year, but if Minnesota opens the doors to him then i fail to believe that he won’t give it a great deal of thought. The chances of Favre signing with the Vikings would be just as good  as saying that the Detroit Lions  are going to have another losing season this year.

Come on Favre…….pack those Wranglers in that suitcase and jump on the first plane smoking to Minnesota. Fantasy football fans are rooting for you!!!
